ABOUT ME
My name is Lia and I’m a 26-year-old female from Toronto, Canada. I’m a student at the University of Toronto, majoring in Psychology, with a focus on cognition and perception. In my free time, I've been attempting to write my first novel and I also enjoy reading and watching science fiction (especially post-singularity/human topics), studying philosophy, Beat poetry and literature, watching sports, listening to all kinds of music, crying over Whedonverse, and reading comic books. An ever-expanding and always incomplete list of my interests can be found here. I'm a feminist, a tattoo lover (scandalous for a Jew), and a bit of a geek.

MY JOURNAL
My journal is almost entirely friends only. As long as I know how you found me and think we might get on, I have no problem adding you. I have a wee form in my friends only post for people to fill out (just so I can learn a bit about you, especially helpful if we haven’t talked much).

I post mainly about my real life, which includes (at the moment) university, my own mental health issues (these posts will always be behind a cut with an appropriate trigger warning), musings about writing, and other various things I think up. I’m also doing Day Zero Projects “1001 things in 101 days” challenge, so posts about that are likely to pop up on occasion. My fandom posts are few and far between.

- Stanislaw Lem, Fables for Robots

"Only in relation to our imagination can things be called beautiful or ugly, well-ordered or confused."
